70 clips in under two minutes. Too jerky for me.

Still, the play is impressive.

Let's put it this way, that is no "John Thorndike" video!  It made me dizzy and frustrated.

Bobcats were swept by Hawaii, but the box score suggests they were competitive all match. Bilger didn't play, which is a little bit of a surprise. It appears that Burkle got a lot of run and played well.

Cats come back after losing 1st set to beat a good San Diego State team 3-1. Play Arizona State today, a top 25 team that swept Hawai'i, so the ladies will have their work cut out for them.

Lost the 5th set 15-8 after being down 9-1.  A good showing against a top 25 team that swept the hosts.  Chelsea B did not play.

It will be interesting to see how others judge what the ladies did this weekend. From "watching" on GameTracker it looked like they hung very tough against both Hawaii and ASU.  Most sets extremely close win or lose.

Very, very quick take (and I didn't see any of the action or hear it):  First year coach, a number of key players who weren't with the team much or any of last year--seems like a not too bad start, especially after the first day.

Chelsea B. apparently tweaked her surgically repaired knee in the days leading up to the trip ... and was not released to play. Hopefully she will be back on the court for the OU tournament later this week. Go Cats!

Just returned from Honolulu and the things I took away from watching all three matches is these kids are not intimidated by anyone.  Against Hawaii, Kelly and Jamie were not themselves for whatever reason.  If they had been, we would have won the match.  Even against AZ State, we had them on their heels, especially with the serving of Jaimie which was a wonderful surprise.  If she continues to improve, our depth at outside is going to be fantastic.  We started blocking better in the last two games also, which will obviously pay huge dividends going forward.  We played against some tall front row players and stood toe to toe with them.  It was very entertaining and I think Dean has them on a course that will ultimately bring home another MAC championship this year.

Thanks to all for sharing the photos. It's been good seeing the senior get playing time.

Enjoyed the photos.

Reminded me of being there in '08 for the Rainbow Classic when Ohio basketball opened with a buzzer beater win against St. Johns, then knocked off Louisiana-Lafeyette before losing the championship game to St Mary's. The men will be back again this year.

The women played Hawaii in front of over 7000 fans, much larger than any of the bball games at the Rainbow Classic.

The Stan Sheriff Center is very similar to the Convo in appearance except for one key feature: they serve beer to the masses.

If Arizona State can take a game from number one Stanford, and we played A.S. competitively, logically, we are capable of playing the number one team in the country competitively.

Maybe a little bit of a stretch, or maybe not.
