I was absolutely inspired by the Brazilians' energy against Lamar today. If you didn't catch the game, their International flavor was more than welcomed by the Ozone.
I can envision soccer chants fully incorporated into the Ozone. If the lyrics were printed onto flyers, and the Ozone regulars were familiar with the tunes, it would take the student section to the next level.
Here are some potential chants that would fit and make sense:
We Love You:
We Love You ¦ We Love You ¦ We Love You
Ohios Who We Follow ¦ We Follow ¦ We Follow ¦
Cause We Support the Bobcats ¦ the Bobcats ¦ the Bobcats
And That's the Way we Like it ¦ We Like It ¦ We Like It
Wooo oh ooh ohh ohh oohhhhhhhh ¦ ¦
Wooo oh ooh ohh ohh oohhhhhhhh ¦ ¦
Wooo oh ooh ohh ohh oohhhhhhhh ¦ ¦
Wooo oh ooh ohh ohh oohhhhhhhh ¦ ¦

Oh Ohio:

Player Name Chant:
Da Da Da dadada
Da Da Da dadada

DJ Cooper
(insert any 4 syllable player name like Reggie Keely, Ivo Baltic, Walter Offout, Stevie Taylor, etc whenever they're playing really well)

Green and White We Bleed:
We all follow the Bobcats
Green and White we bleed
We all follow the Bobcats
On to Victory
(all together now)
We all follow the Bobcats
Green and White we bleed
We all follow the Bobcats
On to victory

I wouldn't try this before the first conference game; but these chants really could work. I think the best way to get the ball rolling is start with Oh Ohio chant sometime around 4 regulation minutes into the game (while the energy is still fresh). It's a one word chant, you can clap if you don't know the words, and I think it'll get people into the chanting mood if they never have before.
