Ozone doing anything new this year?  Now is the perfect time to increase involvement!  Would like to hear what's going on this year.  Any chance the Ozone travels to Marshall game?

The Ozone has some interesting and new things in mind for this season, and there will be more information as Saturday approaches, and most importantly when  we get into MAC play. Goal one is to fill the stands and KEEP THEM FILLED until the clock hits 0:00 in the 4th quarter on Saturday!!! As for a bus trip to Marshall, that probably will not happen, but a bus trip is in the works to another school...more information as plan evolves.

All about keeping the stands full late into the game.  If nothing official for Marshall, I'd start (NOW!) with a Facebook event or something to coordinate carpools.  It is close, people can drive and share rides to split cost.

Also, seems obvious the bus will be to Oxford (which isn't a bad choice by any means).  Hard to keep your hand hidden when the only other options are on a weeknight, the day after Thanksgiving probably at 11am, or outside Boston ;)

A Miami bus trip might be challenging as I can see people wanting to stay behind so they don't miss any Halloween festivities, but that might be the old OU culture talking.

UMass?

No way they go to UMass. That's way too far for what should be a blowout. It'll probably be the Miami game, but I think that's poor planning by the OZone execs. I can't see many students lining up to leave town on Halloween, even for a rivalry game. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the Marshall game would have been a MUCH better selection for the bus trip.

While I'm thinking about bus trips, I think the OZone should try to have two basketball bus trips.  After last season, and with the switch to semesters, there's no reason why they couldn't fill up some buses for both a non-conference game during fall semester and a conference one during spring. I'd like to see some students come up here for the Bobby Mo game on 12/1. First road game of the season against a team who's had our number the past few seasons.

UMass is WAY too far. I wouldn't wish that trip across PA in a bus on anybody. It's bad enough in a car.

If the O Zone leadership is planning things at all, it's a step in the right direction. They let Marketing take away all their power.

BRING THIS:

Stand Up and Cheer

Stand up and cheer,
Cheer long and loud for old Ohio,
For today we raise
The Green and White above the rest,
Above the rest.

Our boys are fighting
And they are bound to win the fray.
We've got the team, O! H!
We've got the steam, I! O!
For this is old Ohio's day!

Plenty of driveable Saturday games while students are in session. Robert Morris, Kent, Akron, BG.
