Hey guys! O Zone president back again. The current plan for OU Oh Yeah was this:
1. Do it a lot the first game (Idaho) so freshman on our side can figure out how it works.
2. Do it once or twice at the Parents Weekend game since a HUGE number of people leave at halftime, don't want to half-ass something this great.
3. From here on out - Doing it at the first opponent possession of either half, plus any crucial scenarios (Defensive stand in the red zone, ninety yard TD, etc.)
For basketball, the plan will probably be similar to the end of last year where it is used early, and then if there is a crucial possession at the end of the game. EDIT: It did work effectively twice when the other team took a TO when we were on a run. If we do it while coming out of the timeout, we should still see similar success.
I don't have a problem doing it when we have the ball in either sport, because after talking to some of the players of both, they really get fired up when we do it while we have possession.
Any thoughts, comments, or feedback is greatly appreciated!
