I’m a student at Ohio University and I’m just as upset as a lot of you almuni are. I want to get our student section back to where it was in the past and find a way to get students excited about football games. Email me at BobcatOHIO19@gmail.com with anything you think would be beneficial in the efforts to bringing back the Student Section. I can’t promise anything, but I’m damn sure going to try.

Welcome! I'm only speaking for myself, but I would surely enjoy seeing more current students and recent grads in this space more often. I feel like (self included) this space has become too much of an old man's board, and I'd love to have some student posters here.

As for the student section suggestions - my only suggestion is this: Keep it simple, consistent, and fun (for your group - not us older folks) with everything you try to do, and be sure to communicate with whomever is trying to do things for students from within the Athletic Department as much as you can.

Does the O Zone do road trips anymore? When I was around, we were good for loading up a bus or two for a basketball and football game each year. Your football opportunities are pretty much gone. Marshall or Pitt would have been pretty easy.

There are accessible Saturday basketball games at BG and Kent this season. One of my favorite memories from the O Zone was a bus trip to Kent. Even though we lost, we owned that building. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOxdDi89OTI
