One of the staples of the O Zone glory days was taking a bus to one away game for football and basketball season. With the momentum behind this season, I think there's still time to make that happen. Three Fridays from now is a national TV date with Kent. They don't have much of a home court presence anymore, you guys could own that building. Maybe put some feelers out with an athletics contact to see if that's feasible, even if it takes attendees chipping in some money. I think you could definitely fill a charter bus for an up and back.

I'll get the idea in the AD's ear. Would be awesome to take a bus up to Kent.

I'm enjoying seeing this part of the board revived. I'm also enjoying the presence of current students on the message board. I always used to enjoy the dialogue with all ages of Bobcats on here. It's good to have some of that back here now. Cheers and a safe Friday to you all out there!

I would donate money to this cause and sat with plenty original O-Zoners who still follow very closely who would do the same in a second.

It is great hearing our visiting crowd be louder and more organized than a home crowd. Let's make it happen! And if the bus thing doesn't work, plenty of students have cars. Make the road trip. We still talk about our road trips to Oxford from Athens, wearing our Muck Fiami shirts, and how well received that was to this very day.

Glad I was able to find this board late last year and I love talking to you all on here! Makes me think I picked the right college to attend. Here's to another golden era of Ohio hoops in the 2020's!

Welp, In December the AD were evaluating options to book a bus or two for one of the February games with the Toledo or Kent game being the top options, but due to budget, campus covid protocols with transportation, and some additional factors they decided not to move forward this season but we plan to potentially do something along those lines next season.

Please don't rely on the Athletics Dept to provide you a ride anywhere, if you are interested in going make it happen. You won't be the first to figure it out on your own.

I'll consider options if I get enough interest.
