Let's start with one of OHIO's perennial powerhouse teams: Field Hockey
     This weekend the Cats blast Ball State 9-1 then shutout Miami 2-0. They are undefeated and in 1st place in the MAC.

Another dominant team:Volleyball 
     Straight set wins at Kent and EMU puts them at 4-0 in the MAC.  They have now won 23!   consecutive sets against MAC teams.

Soccer
     Ladies go to 3-1 in MAC play with road kills at NIU 2-1, and WMU 2-1(ot).

Football
     OHIO opens MAC play with a 17-10 win against Kent.

Cross Country
     In the All Ohio Championships featuring 47 colleges and 317 runners, OHIO sophomore Juli Accurso takes first place. The Lady Cats finished 3rd, men 4th.

One might say OHIO sports held their own this past weekend. Congratulations.
