Keep up the good work, ladies!

Mods, do we need a separate forum now for Field Hockey like we have for VB?

You're two weeks late. They dropped out.

I don't believe that my comment was tagged to the team's exact position in the polls at this particular moment in time.  Obviously the Field Hockey team has gotten dramatically better, and I thought that it might warrant its own forum.  For the record, on a related topic, I really resent the mods using the "Green & White" forum as Siberia and putting any controversial discussion in that forum.  It's high time to created a separate "open discussion" forum.   Or, just take the Green & White name out of the forum name.  I don't think alumni information should be in the same forum either.

Edit: I looked at the last three polls, and I will say that there seems an unusual number of quantum changes from one week to another.  I don't know alot about field hockey, so I may be way off the mark.

1. There is a forum for field hockey, it's called "Ohio Olympic Sports/Other Sports"

2. The name of the forum is "Green & White Club/Alumni Events/General Ohio University Discussion" which is more open ended than any of the other forums.  I think it's pretty obvious that is where an off-topic thread is sent.

Duh . . .  I know that, but as the team gets better they might eventually warrant their own separate forum.  Baseball and Volleyball are also olympic sports, but they have their own forums.

What I'm saying is the Green and White Club and, perhaps Alumni Events, should be in a separate forum from "General Discussion."  As I reviewed the posts in that forum yesterday, I had to scroll down very far to find anything related to the Green and White Club.  I don't like the negative association of GWC with all the crap (some of which I have generated or been a part of) that's in that forum now.

The team is worse, not better, than they were just a few years ago.

Well, if they were ever ranked in the top 15 before, I certainly missed it.  That's completely possible, though.  You obviously follow the "olympic sports" on a regular basis more thoroughly than I do.

I believe they snuck in the top 10 in 2007.

Snuck in at 10 at one point, spent much of the season ranked between 11-16.
