Junior Juli Accurso placed 38th at the 2012 NCAA Championships Saturday afternoon at the Tom Sawyer Park to earn All-America honors for the second-consecutive year as she posted a time of 20:14.4 on the six-kilometer course.

Accurso (Casstown, Ohio) became the first runner in Mid-American Conference history to post back-to-back All-America honors.

Her finishing time was just seven seconds off of the school record, which she set the previous week at the Great Lakes Regional. The Bobcat junior posted an average mile time of 5:26.

The women's side featured 38 individual qualifiers from across the country and 31 teams. Oregon captured the team title and Iowa State's Betsy Saina captured the individual crown, finishing in a time of 19:27.9.
