Ohio was picked second to Miami in the field hockey preseason poll. Oddly, the teams picked third and fourth overall, Central Michigan and Kent State, had the most tournament championship picks (two each compared to one each for Ohio and Miami). Really seems like things are up in the air.

Ohio will debut its new field for Saturday's game (the first home game of the season after 12 away).
