Just got an email from Pitt and just got the link from Pitt.

https://pittsburghpanthers.com/news/2018/8/7/jodi-hermane...

Sucks for our program. Definitely was trending into the consistent contender dept under Hermanek and was always nice to us in the department. Hope the best for her at Pitt.

I don't much about the quality of women's softball programs, other then the teams that seem to be in the NCAA's every year.

For anyone who does know,if Pitt much a "step up" from out program ?

Nice call Shabamon. On 5/19, after the NCAA tourney he wrote: "Coach will get some calls to move up you think?"

Pitt last year was a walk-off homer away from winning the ACC Tourney and moving on to the NCAA Tournament. They had 24 wins in 2017 (7-17 in ACC), moved to 33 wins in 2018 and took #8/#10 Florida State to the limit in the ACC C'ship. Herm's got herself a good squad returning.

Her press conference was yesterday, Pitt AD Heather Lyke seems very excited for Herm's arrival. I'm very happy for Herm, who made rounds on her last day at Ohio to say thank you and goodbye to everyone in the department.
