Has anyone heard an update on the program and status of the coach?

This has been talked about a bit on "InterMat wrestling ".

They had a thread in their college forum discussing it.

Radio silence from O.U. , since the coaches were placed on Administrative Leave.

There's speculation O.U. has come to a decision, but nothing has been made public.

The wrestlers are not happy.

According to the posts on Intermat, none of the wrestlers have had any access to their coaches since day one.

What's gong on has to be an issue , especially for incoming freshmen.

Also ,keeping everyone in the dark may push kids into the portal.

Would have thought the A.D. would have made some kind of statement by now.
I mean this goes back to the middle of March.

There's a July 13,2023 The Post article about President Gonzalez's
July 12,2023 "Round Table" , to discus her goals and priorities.

Based on her comments quoted in the article, including being a "student -first President" , I would think that resolving the issues with the wrestling program, including the fact that the Student Athletes on the team have been been kept in limbo since March, would be a priority.

To date I haven't gotten a response from the new President or from the A.D.

The Post article saying the wresting team's coaching staff was placed
on Administrative Leave was published on March 17,2023.

Since then, nothing.

Even if O.U. doesn't want to "go public" its obscene that, apparently, no one
has had the contacted any of the team members.

Schedule is out and Coach Greenlee is back.
