Honestly, I think the lack of outrage is a symptom of the fact that people on the right just refuse to believe anything negative about their party. The right in America's become comically susceptible to crazy conspiracy theories; Fox News, which is far and away the biggest right-wing news source, peddles unproven, unsourced conspiracies constantly and work very hard to convince their viewers that the Left in America is dangerous and immoral. The President himself -- the head of fucking state -- has coined a widely used phrase designed to discredit the media, making it easier and easier for his supporters to convince themselves stories they don't like are fake, but the ones the do like aren't. And right-wing sycophants have lapped it up because they love the Constitution provided the Constitution only comprises the 2nd Amendment.

For instance, remember during the election when Trump and people here were arguing that unemployment numbers cited by the Obama admin weren't reliable and that the "real" unemployment rate was a 5x the rate cited by Obama? Now that Trump's in charge, the regular ol' employment rate seems fine again. And none of his supporters are here claiming otherwise.

In this thread alone, we have people who are more willing to entertain the idea of a vast media conspiracy involving literally hundreds of news sources and dozens of corroborating witnesses than they are to accept that our obviously sleazy President is obviously sleazy.

The Russia investigation, which has resulted in three arrests and tons of smoke is a #deepstate conspiracy by the famously liberal FBI to take down Trump.

There was a pedophile ring being run by Hillary Clinton and her donors out of a pizza restaurant in DC.

The list's literally endless. Fox News mainstreamed three new conspiracy theories just last night. The party in power -- the party that controls every branch of the Government -- convinces it's supporters that the Government's run by a shadowy cabal and everything that happens is completely out of their control.

It's batshit crazy.

They do not see anything at all, that is the problem. They simply regurgitate tweets and talking points off of Fox News.

But you forget:

This is the same news channel that, just months before Obama was elected, stated that it was treasonous to protest the President...only to say that it was the most patriotic thing ever months after Obama took office.

This is the same news channel that defended the elements of the Patriot Act during the Bush years, only to decry them under Obama.

This is the same news channel that will defend a person's right to deny a gay couple a wedding cake based on their beliefs, but will decry a business denying a Trump voter service based on the same thinking of against beliefs.

Speaking of religious liberty....This is the same news channel that will have a breaking news story to state that "Candidate Barack Obama may possibly be a Muslim" as if it were a problem, and go on to state that there will be more on that later. (This is fact, I watched them live when they did this. They never followed up)

This is the same news channel that will decry Bill Clinton and his past with women, but then try to protect their own problem men, and if they can't completely defend them they will at least give them a huge retirement package and bonus.

At this point, Trump and/or people very close to him are either guilty of collusion, or Trump is just the biggest idiot alive. There's really no other possibilities.

If he's NOT guilty of anything, he -- for no reason at all, with nothing to hide -- asked Comey for loyalty, asked him to drop the Flynn probe, and then fired Comey. He followed that up by pressuring Sessions not to recuse and pressuring Sessions to fire McCabe. He then pressured Coats, Rogers, Pompeo & multiple congressmen to say he wasn’t under FBI investigation. And tried to fire Mueller and only failed because his counsel threatened to resign before he'd follow those orders.

Not to mention, he's waged a war in the media against the FBI and has made a concerted effort to convince America to no longer trust law enforcement or the media.

If you're truly innocent and still bumble your way through this investigation that badly? You're an idiot, and there's really no denying it.

But good news: Hannity's leading with a story about Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch speaking to each other on the tarmac. So he's on the case.
