So I was looking at the Athens sub-reddit and people had been bitching and whining and moaning because they didn't know what the new format was going to be.

I've already heard Neil Young and The Doors this morning.

There's a reason it's called classic rock. The online whining stopped by the way.

Excuse me while I go listen to the Mott the Hoople classic they are playing now.

All the current young dudes have satellite radio in their car and Spotify on their computer or phone. This format station is not directed toward them...yet I did hear Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam on there this morning...so it's not all Woodstock era. Still haven't heard "The Godz" on there yet - LOL!!

New owners. Just logged on and what do my ears hear but classic rock. May have to tune in the next time I'm in the car. Their promo says "pure rock."
