This is the same lady who said OU students should get jobs or forgo fancy jeans to help pay for their tuition increases. Check out the last line of the article too. I thought justices were supposed to be non-partisan.

Unless the new justice is Bop White or perhaps Riz Buckman, post this somewhere else.

She's an OU trustee Paul who voted on the budget to fund sports this year.
I knew this would get moved where no one would see it and thus it wouldn't get discussed. Bad move guys.

In a state that requires its entire judiciary to run for re-election, non-partisanship is an unaffordable virtue. The party affiliations of our Justices are well known.
Judge Brown is an exemplary community leader, advocate for children and very giving of her time and talents. Whatever her party, I endorse her appointment. Her Ohio connections should be a source of pride for us.

Agree, BBB. And, Alan, I'd say that if she was a Dem.

Hmm . . . guilty as charged. I'm now back in the cold, snowy Ohio environment and I can see more clearly now. Who would have thought that Alan would be slamming a Dem? My bad, because I didn't actually read the article before I sounded off. You know what they say about assumptions -- Ass-U-Me! In this case, it was just ME.
