Wanted to bring this up earlier but never got the time to.

Got to speak with and shake hands with Dr. Gonzalez at the Buffalo basketball game. Apparently, she likely had something to do with the new O-Zone shirts given to us at the game. She really liked what we were doing within the student section and took time to talk with us about our majors / how we liked campus etc. She was extremely nice and seemed to really want to connect with us students, much like I've heard how Alden was. Me and a friend commented after how it was incredibly nice of her to come talk with us, especially on a Tuesday night amid a likely busy schedule.

I've seen her around campus and at a lot more campus sporting events than the previous interim president did. But based on my interaction with her, I have a feeling the OU board made the correct decision on hiring her.
