New roof on Convo = hanging scoreboard?  This budget just has enough money to finance the planning of the roof replacement, not the actual work, but I wonder if we'd see a new scoreboard when the actual work is done.  Just curious.

I had the same thought, OCF.

I doubt the new roof entails major structural changes.  Likely it is just the metal roof "coating" will be replaced.  Like replacing the roof on your house.

The article says "redesign" of the roof, which to me leads you to think of possible structural changes, not just a replacement.

If we want a hanging scoreboard (and that's up for debate), it's hard to see it happening in less than three years.

I'd be open to consider alternatives to a hanging scoreboard. I don't know what they are, but the existing scoreboards, to me, are not good.

I don't know about that.  It's been pretty easy to see who the winning team has been this year.

I don't think it would either, but as mentioned above, $300k for a redesign study and $3M to replace indicates more to me than a resurfacing.  Probably a longer-term project, but interesting that it is on the agenda.
