This is somewhat sports-related, because I plan on mentioning us as much as I can possibly do so and have it be relevant, but I am now Video/Assignment editor for Deadspin, and a lot of you supported me when I made the decision to leave academia and be a sports blogger and I want to thank everyone that I cannot do so personally in great amounts of gratitude. 

Way to go, TBurke.  I hope that you're still good here for adventures in dating and academia stories....For those of us who must live vicariously!

Thanks everybody. This really is a great opportunity and I'm working with outstanding, brilliant writers. I'm going to be using everything I learned at Scripps in this position, from the looks of it.
