TWO MOTEL ROOMS FOR HOMECOMING WEEKEND HAVE BECOME AVAILABLE!
Originally my son and I had booked two rooms for both Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12 for our families for Homecoming. However, he now has to be on an early flight for work from Cleveland on Saturday morning. Therefore, I am offering two rooms, each with two beds, at the Hometown Inn (
www.hometowninnathens.com
) for both Friday and Saturday nights. The rooms cost about $170/night each, including taxes. The motel is just south of Athens, about two minutes, on Rt. 50 w. In summary, I am offering TWO separate rooms at Hometown Inn for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12, for the actual cost. First come, first served. Please email me at: jlorek@roadrunner.com or call the motel directly and mention these were the rooms I am giving up. 740-594-2294.

Too bad
some things never change
I paid 170 for a 5 star hotel in downtown Chicago recently. Freeking athens. You will NEVER see my money again. I will go out of my way to find housing rather than pay those exorbitant prices.

That hotel is normally like $60-$70 (which for that one, unless it has been improved, is kinda high) but you can count on an extra $100 per night for homecoming.
