I know most people on B.A. are really good at finding sites for just about anything O.U.

I've used mostly college book store, follets or ohiobobcats store.

Last night I was looking for N.Y. Giants glassware.

My wife had a bad weekend and broke her 2 Giants glasses.

Fanatics.com,giants.com all had pretty much the same stuff.

Anyway,I "googled "giants glassware" and one site that came up was "sportsunlimited.com".

Never heard of them, but they did have one of the glassses my wife broke.

I saw they had college stuff too, including for O.U.

They had some different items then most sites including the O.U. grill cover I've wanted for years.

Thanks! I'm always on the lookout for sites with different Bobcat gear. Now, if I can convince my wife about the Ohio pool table...

I was at card board heroes in the Fairfield Commons mall, I struck up an interesting conversation with store manager. I asked why they don't carry more Ohio gear. His response intrigued me, it basically went "Whenever we (Cardboard Heroes) get new Ohio items they sell out quickly. There are plenty of Ohio items we want to carry but we just can't get"

Are we stingy with our licenses? Is that why it is damn near impossible to find Ohio merchandise outside of Athens? Since Athens is the only place to find real variety is that why the prices are so high? Doesn't it hurt us that it is difficult for people in Ohio to get Ohio merchandise. I was floored that this business can't get more OU gear.

I had a similar experience at the Eastgate Mall (about 25 minutes east of Downtown Cincy) a couple of years ago. Huge selection of OSU, Miami, Cincy, etc. and tiny selection of OHIO stuff. I told the guy I'd love if he had more OHIO stuff. His reply was that "that store in Athens" has a monopoly on licensed gear. I assumed he meant College Bookstore. I can't vouch for the accuracy of his statement.

I love College Bookstore and order stuff from their website when I'm not in Athens, but I wish it was easier to find OHIO stuff around the state.

I've railed on this numerous times. I don't know how CBS could have a monopoly on it when you have Follett's and Universi-TEES selling gear. But why there's not more Ohio gear around the state, I don't know.

And why hasn't Universi-TEES gotten into the online sales business? I emailed them about it two years ago and they still can't sell online.

Got my grill cover yesterday.

Lookks great, but more importantly,I was very impressed with the quality.

I'm always concerned with compainies that just plop a logo on lower quality merchandise, knowing the logo will make it sell.

Check out Homage. Their products are higher quality I think and you'll probably end up paying about the same as you would at CBS. They just put a store in Over the Rhine in downtown Cincy and are based out of Columbus. They must have some OU grads working for them because they always have good deals on OU gear for things like Founder's Day and the day of the Miami/OU games.

I don't hate people that love the Buckeyes, I hate OUr alums that give their money to the massive machine in Columbus instead of us, further tipping the balance of money in their favor.

As far as these guys go, they produce a product and have to sell to a market, I hope they bleed all of Columbus dry and give that money back to OUr school via donations.

I've been to the store in Cincy. There it's mostly Bengals, UC and Cincinnati pride type stuff. The Ohio selection is about the same size as the OSU. I'm assuming that pic is from a Columbus store.

He does some great Ohio gear, and if the OSU revenue allows him to stay profitable and grow his business to market cool stuff for Ohio and the other Ohio MAC schools, then where's the harm? It's not like there would be one ounce less OSU stuff on the streets if his company went under.

While I do like their selection of pawprint tees, I just can't bring myself to paying $32 for a t-shirt.

You definitely want to sign up for emails, or twitter notifications. You'll be able to get that shirt for 30% off, or 18.04, or some other special if you wait. Or when it's a year or two old and heads to clearance(although not sure if the paw print shirt will ever hit clearance).
