Neither the dean nor the president find it important enough to act on renaming the Roger Ailes Newsroom, so I'll pledge $1,000 toward renaming it the Fred Kight Newsroom.
This is entirely serious.

I'll pledge $1,000 for the renaming it the Les Nessman Newsroom.

I have to assume that this is not as simple an issue as we all want to make it seem...
So... how much money was given by Ailes? What was done with that money? Do we have to give it back if we remove his name? Do we even have the ability to give it back? What do these naming contracts look like? Any of our resident lawyers want to chime in here?
We have plenty of named buildings on campus, same dating back to the 1800s. Are we going to go into all of their histories? Did some own slaves?

$500K according to The Post.

In a similar matter, the Paterno Library remains in State College. Nike removed the Paterno name from its Day Care Center(ironic) at their corporate campus, but it had been named in honor of the coach, not a result of a donation.

Ha - it's not a day care center! I guarantee that's where the shoes are made.

Just re-name it the "Somewhat Fair and Balanced Room", or "Spin It If You Can Pull It Off And Sound Like You're Not Room"

Important lesson for future generations: Don't name things after jerks that 1/2 the people in the country hate.

Yeah, this pretty much eliminates any living president from ever having something named after them.

It's on them - Long live the Fourth Estate (and the OHIO School of Journalism)
