I make a couple of automatic monthly donations to OHIO--one to Bobcat Club, one to the OHIO FOUNDATION.

They are both automatic on my OU Alum Assn credit card. Recently, I received notice that the OUAA credit card program is being terminated.

[ Well, at least terminated with the current credit card issuer and I've received no info about a new OUAA card. But that's another issue for another day. ]

So, I called the Foundation to put my auto donations on a new credit.

Instructions were emailed to me. First, I'm told to log in but don't see a link or directions re how to log in I figured it out. Then, the instructions say to "Choose the frequency of your gifts under the Auto Payments tab on the right side of the page." But there's no such tab that I see.

And, I can get info on my current monthly donations but I can't change the account from which they're drawn.

Either I'm still computer-stupid or this system is well set up to discourage contribs.

Anyone have a similar experience?

David Johnson gave me some personal, very fine help to get me set up today.

He said that the Foundation is well aware of the problem and doing a review to bring in a better internet interface vendor.

I hope that all here can give some of the dollars every month to support The Best University...OHIO

Pleasant surprise: Recently I was talking with a Foundation staffer about a recent donation. I mentioned that, if I recalled correctly, I made my first such donation back in 1981. "Yes, that's right," she confirmed. Yep, the Foundation's system has retained all giving records. I was thinking that there must have been a purge - perhaps a crash with no backup - at some time during the last 35 years but not so.
