Me too. When my youngest attended freshman orientation he was the speaker at the welcome session. I introduced myself as a former student and he was quick to offer my son an open door as a resource, despite him being in a different college. Good guy.

As I'd said before I'm not an academic so what does this mean exactly ?

1.Does the BOT need more time to decide on the new President.

2.Has the decision on the new President been made,but made but can't be announced.

3.Has the decision on the new president been made,but he isn't be available before McDavis leaves ?

4.Some combination of the above ?

There also has to be a possibility that none of the 4 candidates are chosen after thorough interviews with BOT/forums/etc? Long shot I'd say but I guess you never know.
