How about this story? Former OHIO golfer Jimmy Ellis at 39 years old medaled at the U.S. Amateur. He's being hailed as the real-life 'Tin Cup' now for his remarkable story.

He got off to a great start in his first match - 3 up after 4 but ended up getting beat 2 UP. Great run though especially considering he didn't even have a real home course to play on while at OU.
