Honestly, you all are pretty insufferable on this topic. I don't think you realize it, but you are.

BA.com is -- as I understand it -- a labor of love. It has no full-time employees, just Ohio Bobcats fans who shoulder the cost and work to keep it up and running to give folks a place to talk Ohio Athletics.

Yet somehow, the expectation here is that two people -- in their spare time -- should moderate every single thread perfectly, and if anybody finds anything that they consider to be inconsistency in the way the site's moderated, it's a sign of bias and unfairness and they make a big stink about taking their ball and going home. And they always do it in a public, confrontational way.

We all know the policies here. We often choose not to follow them. Sometimes we get away with it, sometimes we don't.

The instinct to act like it's some important crusade for free speech is just silly though. To quote M.D.W.S.T. -- touch grass.

Glad you found a part of my post you could argue against.

Keep fighting the good fight, man. Always important to whine about how this free site is run.

I appreciate that this site exists. I don't care if the mods decide certain posts shouldn't be here. They do work so we can use this site that we all like enough to keep coming back to it.

But yeah, it's very unjust and unfair. Have fun with your hunger strike and tell OCF I say hi.
