I don't remember much of 1997-1999 but wasn't there a deli type place that turned into a bar/club called Patrick's? I am sure it was on Court Street.

Are you thinking of Zachary's?

Zachary's? In my day (mid 1970's) it was the Pizza House at 30 N. Court Street. Today it is a T-Shirt shop. Time marches on for all generations. https://www.facebook.com/UTEESOhioU

There is one place I am trying to remember the name of. It was on East State, on the left. It may have been before you got to or after where the Maplewood was. I think it remember tiki gods out front? Maybe called the Tiki Room?. Dave Altier, who owned the Long Branch Saloon uptown, bought it after he sold the Long Branch. Anyone remember?

Yes, it was called The Tiki. I remember it used to be one of the few places in town you could get a late dinner at. I remember going there with my gf, now wife, and getting a dinner about 10 one evening. I believe before the Tiki, it was called the Airport Inn. Then they moved the airport!

What would your gf, now wife, think about ending a sentence with "at"?

"...get a late dinner at."

She'd think that when I answer a post with my iPhone that I don't do much self editing. I leave that to my BA colleagues who are eager to assist me. She might also say: "Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put." ;-)

Thanks for the the confirmation of The Tiki. What business is at the location where The Tiki used to be?

Not sure. I'll try to see if I can figure it out the next time I travel down that section of East State Street.
