I was a disco guy and hung out at the Deck. If the Longbranch was the place in the alley, a friend used to spin oldies and I would hang there that night. CJ’s was a favorite when Richard Syracuse used to tickle the ivories with standards and jazz. May God rest his soul.
DJ Boss Groover at the Deck, usually Thursday evening to get the evening off to a smashing start. Pretty big dance floor and NONE OF THE DANCERS CARRIED THEIR BREW TO SPILL ALL OVER THE FLOOR! Nothing crappier than enjoying dancing and the floor is wet from all the AZZ holes who carry a drink onto the floor.
