I've now had two opportunities to speak with our new AD, Julie Cromer, and am convinced she's going to do an outstanding job. Very thoughtful, articulate and, above all, open to ideas. She's still developing her vision for Ohio Athletics, but I do know that connecting with alumni in a more strategic, proactive way will be an area of emphasis. I encourage all to approach her at future football and basketball games; you'll come away impressed.

She may be everything you say.
I haven't met her yet.

As I've posted,I'm not going to make a judgment, till I see what kind of decisions she makes, especially when it comes to coaches.

Actions . . .

Although, I don't really understand her comment in last week's The Post "I get that I have a little bit of,you know,an cool factor".

You misquoted her. She said she has been spending a lot of time with student athletes and is surprised they are so welcoming to her because she has an "uncool factor" given the age difference.

“I get that I have a little bit of, you know, an uncool factor,” Cromer jokingly said,” but they’ve been really welcoming and a lot of fun.”

Helps to use the whole quote for context purposes. Like SBH, I've had two chances to speak with her - once at her initial introduction and once at an uptown restaurant where she and her husband were dining. "Genuine" is the word I use to describe her.
