Waiting for the "how much will the athletics budget be cut?" comment.

But we're not in a budget crisis.

And forget that Jeff and Frank are 1 and 2, here's that data base that shows where all the money is going in terms of salaries.

I am a sinner...

I am coveting the incomes of many on this list..non-teaching of course. Mind blown, I had no idea that administration jobs pay SO HIGH and that there are SO MANY of them.

Check this out - just one administrative unit - university advancement. I'd love to see an organizational chart.

Only counted 106 or so. Of which 90+ were either directors or assistant directors. In 15 years 1,000 “administrative” jobs created.

And their job description and background.

As I've posted,I work with FDU in Teaneck,N.J.

"Top Heavy "doesn't begin the describe the ratio between
Administrative and "Faculty".

To be fair, its also amazing how little "teaching" a number of the
full time professors do.

Sorry if this is too simplistic, but you chose a department whose job is to solicit money. If they bring in more than they cost, isn't this department worth it?

It depends on how much more they bring in,then they cost.

Also, can they accomplish the same with less staff ?

Yes and no. It depends on what your expected return on investment is. What is an expected yield? I once worked in a business that had gross margins of over 65%. Of the money that OU gets, how much of it is raised versus that which falls out of the sky (the Patton money).

Here's an org chart for part of student affairs.

Boals and Solich should be making in the range of the deans on the list, about 300k. We do not make money from athletics.
