Bobcat Love's Sense of Shame

Honest question: How many posts has BLSS made about an OHIO athletic topic? I know his favorite habitat is here in Siberia. Reasonable question since this board's raison d'être is sports not the discussion of social and political issues. Those are not forbidden here, as they are on many other similar boards, which is probably a good thing, but talking about Bobcat athletics should be the focus.
I watch Ohio basketball. That's about it. But the general Ohio University community still interests me. Is there a better place to discuss that?
Maybe not, but you do seem to be virtually the only one who is on this board for the primary purpose of discussing socio-political issues. For everyone else, these issues are quite secondary to our main activity on BA.
I have another question for you: What is your relationship to Bobcat Love? Was he a classmate? A friend? You may have answered that previously, but if so I didn’t see it or have forgotten. I do remember some speculation that you are actually BL’s alter ego.
I answered this for you prior. I'm not him. I created this name as a joke to reply in a thread where he was on a typically Lovian rant. I believe it was when he called for Groce to be fired when we got the pants beat off of us at Kansas. Since, I've come to appreciate Love. The name's become an homage. I've never met him, that I'm aware of.
As for discussions here, I think Ohio University is a unique community that includes a unique cross section of people. The conversations here are interesting precisely because of that and the socio-political conversations are most interesting. I've learned a lot here from these conversations and though other people aggravate me as much as I aggravate them, there's no hard feelings. Were I ever in Knoxville, for instance, I'd happily by Robert Fox a beer. I don't know where you live, but same offer stands. And Billy? Well, he can come to a Rugby party at my place any time. It's good to hear different perspectives and interact with people with different opinions. Too much of our society is now purely about people trying to shut down people who disagree with them.
