There was an article in The Post yesterday about Athens County getting
super cold freezers for storing the Phizer covid vaccine.

Yesterday's Houston Chronicle had an article about how Dippin' Dots had been working with an outside company to develop super low temperature freezers for medical uses.

They've had a number of inquiries from places wanting them for storage of the covid vaccine.

Did the Post article mention that Athens County produces some of these freezers?

You beat me to it OCF. I see the chief strategy officer monthly at an educational business advisory committee meeting and he gives us updates on their progress and the industry. Just saw an ad where they are hiring for positions that Athens County can really use.

Thanks, Alan, for the link. Very interesting advertisement for the freezers.

I'm glad Dippin' Dots has found some societal purpose. It sure ain't ice cream.

Don't tell my 14-yr old son that. He insists on getting dippin dots on every trip to the zoo or at every reds game. $7 for confections that might be worth 25 cents.
