I wonder how far down the totem pole this "peer institution" argument holds sway - cafeteria ladies, bus drivers, grounds keepers?

Which peer institution argument? What's this thread about? The same thing as the other threads you and Billy keep starting?
The administration keeps saying that we're trying to keep up with our self-defined peer intstitutions. There is a glut of qualified candidates for many jobs right now. If someone wants to leave, fine, go, if you can find a job.
