Albany, Binghamton and Denver. Will Brown (20 seasons),Tommy Dempsey (9 seasons) and Rodney Billups (5 seasons) out, respectively. Brown is the eye-opener.

Indiana State where Greg Lansing has been let go after 9 seasons.

Other rumors: Rob Murphy at EMU; Pitino the Younger at Minn; Steve Prohm at Iowa St.

Who’s going to get the Penn State job? Anyone know any of those interviewed?

Contract running out this year. I can't imagine any scenario where they would bring him back.

Murphy at EMU, Davis at CMU and Montgomery at NIU all had ample time to get things turned around. NIU moved on from Montgomery and look to have hired a quality replacement. The 2 Michigan schools need to do likewise.

Centre Daily Times of “the Happy Valley” mentions five to keep an eye on: the PSU Interim coach, head coaches at Bona, Cleveland State and Yale and associate head coach at Purdue.

Saw that article as well, former Bobcat assistant in Mr Jones on that list. Good guy!

Losing to Rutgers albeint a tourney team this year, was not a good way for the season to end and I thought this would seal his fate when I saw the score.

Hoosiers have had a tough time finding the right coach to get them back to a strong BIG14/national contender. But they certainly could back in track in a couple years with the right recruiting and leadership, like Illinois and Iowa have done recently.

Program is kind of in the same situation as Michigan/Nebraska/Tennessee football right now where a strong tradition and history has been hard to recapture.

If this is accurate, looks like Purdue's Shrewsberry will be the new head man.

I can only imagine the smirk on Tom Crean’s face.

I’m sure Hoosier fans are dreaming of Brad Stevens... again.....

Minnesota is expected to part ways with Richard Pitino.

They should hire Rick Pitino.

Wonder if we'll see Saul Phillips return to a mid-major?

I always get a little skittish when we have success and Midwestern B10 schools need a HC. I'm sure that Boals is on Indiana's radar, especially since we're playing at their place this weekend (coincidence?). He has strong ties to Ohio but if they make the right offer, who knows?

Kowalczyk is probably also in the conversation. He has a good record, two regular season MAC titles, but no NCAA appearances in his ten years at Toledo. But if he does well at the NIT...

Of course. He’s 45-7 right now at Northern State. Ranked number 2 in D-2. Why not?

You been reading Hoop Dirt? Today's update:

Denver seemed to be focusing on guys with head coaching experience. Some names that I’ve heard are D2 Northern State head coach Saul Phillips (former head coach at Ohio), D2 Belmont Abbey head coach Dan Ficke (former Denver assistant), and D2 Colorado Mines head coach Pryor Orser.

Dennis Gates apparently won't be moving from Cleveland St to BC. Apparently BC will hire Earl Grant from College of Charleston. https://hoopdirt.com/report-boston-college-to-hire-c-of-c... /

Pryor Orser wouldn't likely have to pack up and move.
