Have we heard anything about our next athletic apparel contract? As far as I can tell, our most recent deal was signed with adidas for an 8-year term that was to begin in July 2017. That was announced in March 2017, so I'm a little surprised nothing has been reported about a new deal or an extension of the previous one by now.

Why would you be shocked that no announcement would be made? We rarely ever make announcements.

An announcement would be great. I am hopeful Adidas remains basically because I have 7 million or so invested in apparel. Would not be surprised if they move to Nike. I just hope it financially makes sense.

I’m worried that they no longer have a contract with anyone and are in the same boat as the rest of the MAC where they have to buy from a provider rather than receive a payout as part of a contract.

Adidas is still listed in the footer of the athletics website and no announcements have been made. Digging a bit further into the previous contract, it looks like there were a couple option years at the end of the deal. Maybe one of those was exercised for 2025-26?

Still no idea if it’s a new deal or an option year on the old one, but at least for now, Adidas it is. New template for the football uniforms looks a lot better.
