Definitely an area of need for next year.

Not sure how many DTs return if any with the extra COVID year.

Looks to be good enough to be in a 4 man rotation as a true Freshman.

About 6’2”-275 with decent moves.

Gorman joined Bloom-Carroll LB Andrew Marshall on the Dispatch all-metro first-team defense. Both flipped from a MAC East school to Ohio - Marshall from Kent and Gorman from Miami.

Gorman is the only player in recently retired Pick Central coach Jay Sharrett’s 20 seasons to start on both sides of the line for four seasons.

This looks like a great signing. Definitely a position of need and nice to get him away from Miami.

247 currently has him as the 12th highest rated recruit in OU history.

3-star on ESPN, looks like he also had offers from Cincy, Coastal, and Indiana in addition to the aforementioned Fiami.

36th ranked recruit in Ohio.

Love to see Pickerington kids at OU now that I live a stones throw from Pick Central, especially ones so highly recruited.

Perhaps a plus in those regards is Central just hired long-time assistant coach Jeff Lomonico to replace Sharrett as the team's new head coach. Lomonico played football at Ohio from 1988-92.

I'm sure this had a lot to do with Spence Nowinsky and his time at Miami(OH) to flip this guy.
