In this, I noticed that it is liked/retweeted/whatever you call it by Beau Blankenship. I thought, 'Oh, is Beau helping out with the Bobcats now?' Nope, it's a different Beau Blankenship who has committed to the Herd. It can't be Beau's son, can it? We aren't getting that old where Beau is possibly having a son old enough for college football, right?

No, this Beau Blankenship is from Paint Valley, his father is named "Smoke" Blankenship. Beau and Jacob both work out at the same gym and personal trainer.

Bainbridge where a name like "Smoke" is the norm.

Great to see a local kid from Jackson.

It would be nice to pick up some tough local kids from Paint Valley too.

Jackson has had several OHIO Bobcat football players in the past 20 years.

Looks to be a pretty accurate passer who is dangerous when he runs the ball. Seems to have good field vision and has a clear head under pressure. I like the play in his hudl highlight reel towards the end where he recovered a bad snap off the ground and still had the presence of mind to find and get the ball to an open receiver. He'll fit into OHIO's offense just fine.
