His dad played at Michigan and then a little while in the NFL as a 3rd round pick for the Pats.

This one is interesting. Great athlete. Was a QB for a while but never really fit there. He was moved to WR and DB because Hoban imported a QB from out of state. I have no idea where he projects. WR or possibly Safety. With his frame could move to LB.

Ohio beat out other offers from Notre Dame College, Davenport, Fairmont St. and Tiffin, according to 257sports.

I’m thinking WR….just learning the trade.

This might be an instance where someone did extra homework. He had no big offers but is pretty good. The position change probably took him off most recruiting radars. Again WR seems logical. I think back to the Brawley situation last year. PWO at Kent but Hauser stayed in touch. Called him out of the blue.

Lack of offers may be because of the position change.

Average QB who could be an above average WR.

It has happened before..

IMO he was definitely under recruited. This one may turn out very well.

Key is to develop a relationship with Hoban program/coach. They are loaded every year. And I'm not just saying that because my son played WR for them many years ago!

Hoban features one of the best recruiting staffs in the state. Ohio needs relationships with in state programs. When the recruiting coordinator from Ohio walks into these big time programs a relationship should be established. They have to do a great job in Ohio and hopefully this is a nice bridge. Mr. Ohio only had one D1 offer before a last minute Kentucky offer. He was bound for Buffalo.

According to him and his coaches he is moving to OLB.

But just think, he could be a football version of your boy Shumate.
