Seeems like this is a huge recruitting weekend. I would guess tha Miami hoops game would be a good place to usher recruits to.  Any other names floating around that could be in town this weekend?

WR Landon Smith and DL David Tinsley from other threads......big one could be a QB from Fla. that scout.com says will visit this weekend.....Quentin Williams....let's wrap this guy up now.....immediately goes to my wish list....offers from Purdue and others:

On the 2nd play in the video he throws one 55 yards while on the run without setting his feet...so I'd say he has a good arm.  First time I watched the play I was thinking he was throwing it to the guy about 30 yards away...but the camera just kept panning down field to show where the ball really was.

Although many of the passes don't seem to have a lot of "zip" on them.  Lots of them appear to be touch passes where he was lofting them over the D to the WR who got behind the D.

Both of his receivers have D1 offers.....Chris Moore is a Cincy committ....Andre Davis is the biggest at 6'3"-190 and has an Ohio offer but his visits seem to start on the 14th of Jan....but who knows...maybe the 7th is open and he visits with Williams.

Looks good to me. If he's coming, hopefully the campus will be the deal closer.

Oh....he's comin....just make sure we show him some video of Suthern Ahia in the spring sans rain.....Tampa heat and 20 degrees this weekend  in Athens may just freak him out.

LOL....post of the new year.....he'd be so fast that we couldn't talk to him and he might injure himself jumpin over the Convo with his 39 inch verts.

Doc:  I am being serious, after talking to Coach Young (DC) at OCC, he confirmed to me that this kid is legit, maybe the best talent they have had go through there.  They were extremely fortunate to land him from Fullerton and were really disappointed when he went out with injury.

OK.....I don't mind eating green crow if I really need to.....just the 4.3 and the 39 and the talk makes it a tad too good to be true.

Our DB coach reed is one of the best if this kid wants to make it to the league he will come here and be apart of one of the top young secondarys in the mac.

Sure....NFL experience as a DB coach.....our WR coach has sent a few to the NFL as well and that should be something that potential recruits also consider...I don't know.....maybe they just consider the # of hot chicks on campus.

If he's worthy then so be it....it just sounds a tad strange.

Yeah, it's too bad we don't have an IPF this weekend.  Snow for some of these guys may be a first.  Not good.
