We need him and we could probably get him in the nfl scouts will be coming to see Leftwich, Keller and Brazill next year. This kid can make a splash. We just need a QB, and RB.

I love it when friends, family members and the athlete themselves get on here with their youtube videos promoting themselves.  Is it an accident that "cornerback21" is the same position and number of the young man in the video?

According to his Twitter account he is already in Athens.

And after checking the game by game stats of his JC, this young man must be the real deal!  As no one ever challenged him, not even in the slightest as he had zero defensive stats on the season.  Hopefully he was not hurt in a way to jeopardize his talent and future value.

Wanamacker come on man the kids is trying to garner up some interest!! Give the guy a break in todays world you have to be your best promoter and I cannot fault the kid for trying to become a BOBCAT I say young man GO FOR IT. HOWEVER if you tell the coaches that you run a 4.35 and you only run a 4.5 then your hurting yourself..A 4.5 is FAST a 4.35 is BLAZING WORLD CLASS SPEED...Posey..Leftwich..and Carrie or Bates range in the 4.39/4.4 range and we all know those guys can run run run. So dont hurt yourself by fabricating your stats and or recruitment. If Ohio is recruiting you then go ahead and sign! Its a great time to be a bobcat and NFL scouts are going to be all over Peden Stadium this year and the next immediate future!

Sensitive this morning....Placing stuff on fan message boards is not how to garner interest with coaches, just saying.  And as Doc pointed out the film is of non-contact practice drills only, which is not the best form of video to put together.

Is there something wrong promoting myself? Just to let you know I broke my coller bone
Before the season started so there is no film other than the practice film I have up after I came back from the injury. Second that is my real speed u can contact my coaches for that and i have already been in contact with the ohio coaches and everything is going smooth. They know my situation so I dont need justify it on here. You will see me in athens this year count on it.

GPod, and i hope you bring all those tools with you. If you notice, I did say injury may be a part. Every year though we get people throwing their stuff up here that can't play DII ball.

Best of Luck!

First off, if a kid puts in this kind of effort off the field I can't wait to see what kind of effort he can put in on the field. If nothing else I appreciate a recruit coming on here and showing visible interest in our fine institution. I really admire people in this world that use all the tools they can to succeed.

Secondly, as I look at this year's class, so far we only have one commit to the defensive backfield (Ian Wells). The Leftwiches, Moore, and Carrie will be juniors. With Omar Leftwich, TJ Carrie, and Gerald Moore as pretty much guaranteed starters we need someone to step up, the job's wide open (Kenny Jackson, Octavious?) On top of that we don't run very deep in the defensive backfield (losing 5 DB's to graduation?)

An athlete with this kind of size and speed would be a tremendous addition to our defense. This is an exciting addition if it goes through.

Remi, best of luck on the field and in the classroom. Go Bobcats

You're a JUCO correct?

Have you signed an LOI?

Here you are listed on the 2009 Fullerton roster:

Well good luck Cornerback! Its not easy to get through juco and you should do everything in your power to get that AA even if it means no social life! The leftwiches made it and I spoke with them they actually put in 18 hour days in front of a computer for some of their online college courses..now if thats not commitment wow!! I cant wait to see the defense next year it would be nice to add another cb with a little size with Omar and Octavius being 6'2 195/200 most bcs schools will have a hard time passing on those guys as they improve!

That's a fact. Every year we get some people posting on here about how good they are, yet they never end up with any Division I offers. It's the coaches that decide who to offer, though, not the fans.

Ohio does have a great history of DB's in recent years. Corners Byrum, Wright, Parsons, and Turner each managed Free Agent contracts to the NFL. Byrum, Parsons, and Turner all made the practice squads, and Byrum did get some actual NFL playing time, but I'm not sure on Parson and Turner. Wright was poised to make at least the practice squad, and perhaps the final cut until he had an ankle injury that effectively ended his NFL career before it started.

At Safety, Michael Mitchell was a 2d round draft choice last year, and is playing for Oakland.
