I know we have several recruiting pimps on this site. I saw this kid play last year and this year. He has taken giant steps forward. I hear he has picked up recent offers from MAC Schools to possibly play TE or LB. He is a HS QB now. Athletic kid for sure with good size.

Anyone have more detail?

Athletic with super size at 6'5"-240.....he was at OUr June 9th camp at Moeller so it's possile we may have offered or will....the scoutingohio vid showcases his QB skills....can tell that he could be a decent TE or DE:

Spelling is the same...not sure about being related or not but me thinks there aren't a plethora of Staubachs in the Cincy area.

I like this kid....6'5"-240 and a 4.6 forty.

McNich has historically had number problems since they compete for Catholic kids in Cincy with LaSalle-Roger Bacon-Moeller-St. X....etc.etc.  Who knows what he could do even at QB with a better supporting cast.

Any of you recruiting guru's have updates on this young man? I have seen all of the McNick playoff games and he is getting better every week. They thrashed a 12-0 Eaton squad. To be able to run the ball with his size, there is a place for this kid in D1.

Not according to this article:

http://news.cincinnati.com/article/AB/20101116/SPT0301/11...

"Staubach is not related to NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach, who played at Purcell High before starring with the Dallas Cowboys."

According to Mike Dyer's (Cincinnati Enquirer) tweet, new McNicholas coach and former Bobcat Mike Orlando says Staubach is considering Buffalo among other schools.
