Another bigun for Monroe.

It's obvious that we could use some d-line depth since we're losing 2 300 pounders. A JC addition would be nice as they hopefully could step in right away.  Big Shaq Rowell of Cleveland Glenville and an Iowa Juco fits the bill.

Doc--It's become evident that we need some stars, some guys who dominate on the field.  Especially at D-line.

This doesn't mean that the young men have to be 5-star recruits.  All that estimation stuff is garbage.  They just gotta go out and be disruptive on the field.

I've long contended that special D-line talent is the rarest commodity in college foot-ball so I know that this is a tough task.  But give me that (see what kents did to us) and I'll give you a team what can go far.

Predicting a successful d-lineman at the college level is harder than you think.  A big dominant lineman in high school becomes a big friggin slow lug in college. In fact....Can'ts best lineman was a 250 pound freshman  (Roosevelt Nix) who we had recruited as a fullback. We have a similar size lineman in Carl Jones who returns and may tell us the BigManz aren't the only manz on the d-line.

Doc--it'd be nice for some dominating D-liners to have size.  But the only criteria is performance.  If we can find a 180 lb guy who can do it, suit him up!

As Troy showed us...you can't JUST be huge to be a d-lineman nowadays.  You have got to have some speed.  In fact, with all the spreads and pistols in college, speed is becomming more and more an issue at EVERY position.  Just look at OUr performance versus Troy.

I love it when friends, family members and the athlete themselves get on here with their youtube videos promoting themselves.  Is it an accident that "cornerback21" is the same position and number of the young man in the video?

According to his Twitter account he is already in Athens.

And after checking the game by game stats of his JC, this young man must be the real deal!  As no one ever challenged him, not even in the slightest as he had zero defensive stats on the season.  Hopefully he was not hurt in a way to jeopardize his talent and future value.

Keep that El Camino JC pipeline open! Mose Denton has a teammate, Royce Lewis (S/CB), who led the team in tackles, had a scoop and score, and INT for TD. He will be a soph next year. Goes 6-0 and 200. Getting interest from Oregon State among others. Bro Roy plays CB for Seahawks.
