I think the biggest issue is lack of in-depth content from VanDelay this (and maybe the last few?) year. I remember him going into detail on each team's classes, doesn't seem to have done that this year, he just links to other people's coverage. Not much to talk about really!

Ryan, I was just getting ready to delete this thead after seeing the similar thread on the regular football board. Thanks.

Isn't this the first year that Vandelay hasn't had the detailed discussions of each recruiting class? Also, he used to group them on several different levels rather than ranking them numerically. Still, I appreciate this source of analysis.

Usually he posts his team ranking first, then over the next few weeks writes an in depth article about each team. The coverage is pretty good, but takes awhile before the whole report is out.

I hope you are right LC, I just got the sense that he may have been taking the easy way out by posting the page with links to the official school releases and the local media's coverage for each team. I would have expected to see a "while we get our in-depth analysis written up, here's some links..." type of statement.

It looks like you're right, and Nick no longer is doing full reports.
