Maybe not as funny as past lists (loved Wave Ryder last year) but still some good names. Somepositions were a tie so they have some multiple names:

Offense

QB-Steele Jantz-Iowa St.-gotta have confidence in a QB named Steel.

QB-Bookie Cobbins-UK-hopefully the betting thing doesn't come up.

RB-Bishop Sankey-Washington-parents must love to play chess.

RB-Dreamius Smith-Kansas-the girls must love this guy.

RB-Adonis Ameen-Moore-Syracuse-nice to have a Greek super hero at RB.

WR-Alex Mut- USF-what's up dawg?

WR-Bubba Tandy-UK-imagine that...a guy named Bubba in Kentucky.

TE-Hayden Plinke-Boise-better be tough with a name like that.

OL-Will Sport-South Carolina-will sport what?

OL-Joey Trapp-Miss. St.-great pulling guard.

OL-Jason Peacock-Arkansas-colorful dude.

OL-Garrett Gladd-Tulsa-happy to have him on the team.

OL-Andre Yruetagogena-Oregon-say what?

Defense

DL-Godspower Offur-Wake Forest-has a brother Makeabetter.

DL-Nate Fakahafua-Utah-bless you....aw fooey.

DL-Giorgio Newberry-Fla. St.-best dressed player on the team.

DL-Luther Maddy-Va.Tech-nothin worse than a ticked off DT.

LB-Ishaq Williams-Notre Dame-OK so you're Shaq.

LB-Xzavier Dickson-Alabama-too bad Xavier doesn't have a football team.

LB-Trey DePriest-Alabama-pray for some tackles.

LB-Jimmy Stewart-Vandy-It's a Wonderful Life.

CB-Quintavius Harrow-Georgia-isn't there a Rome Georgia?

CB-Adeboye Aromire-Va.Tech-atta way Adeboye.

S-Darius Slay-Miss.St.- a killah.

S-Ezekial Bishop-Ariz. St.-the prophet.

Can't forget a the best name in the class...

Wonderful Terrific Monds II - Not sure where he signed

Also, Andre Yruretagoyena is pronounced (Ee-dru-aytha-go-yayna),  I'm a huge Michigan fan and we recruited him heavily, took us forever to find the correct pronunciation.

When I read Wonderful Terrific Monds, I was taken back to the early and mid-90's when I was an avid baseball card collector as a pre-teen and teenager.  Wonderful Terrific was my favorite name, he played for the Braves minor league system.  If I remember correctly, he was quite speedy, but not much else.

The college recruit is Wonderful Terrific Monds II, son of the former minor leaguer. Rivals listed him as having offers to Youngstown State and Buffalo but it does not show him signing.

And that's why the Doc didn't have him on his list.

Me do me research.

Google is a "Wonderful" thing. Curious if I might have found a grandfather? Click the link.

He's the one I thought of right away when you mentioned Wonder Monds. I guess that shows my age....
