The offensive line is another area that seems to get hit with the injury bug more than others.  The left side of the line has especially been hit hard the last few years.  John Prior is a natural lefty so maybe he'll be the insurance policy we need and possibly earn his way to a starting position.

He's got the size and the attitude as well as a great work ethic.....I'm a Portsmouth boy so it's nice to see someone from home in a Cat uni.....I think  he'll work his way into some pt:

Hey Doc...

Yeah Prior's the one I wrestled with for my list of "5 first year impacts players"...I can't wait to see what he can do considering that he's an upper crust BCS transfer!

If I remember right, Prior had only two offers, Marshall and Florida State. He has work to do, but over time has the ability to contribute.

Hmmm, according to this he had a ton of offers, including West Virginia and Wisconsin:

Prior has been working hard..he has the size obviously..Ive met him several times and the knock against him is..too nice..on and off the field..great guy tho glad to have him on the team..Hopefully he can teach himself a mean streak...FSU apparently was too mean for him as in coaches punching kids and slapping them.

About Mr. Prior's "niceness." One of my all-time favorite players is Merlon Olson. Mr. Prior could study Merlon's approach to football. If he could bring it like Merlon, he can still be 'nice' and yet All-American.

Yeah, that's great inside info, but perhaps you should remove that. We wouldn't want to get the young man in trouble.

It doesn't surprise me that these big programs might do that. Particularly down South. Good for him for leaving.
