Ohio has offered a scholarship to Cincinnati Princeton High School middle linebacker Jhalil Croley . The 6-3, 245-pounder also has offers from Ball St., BG, Buffalo, Miami (OH), Toledo and Pitt.

Head coach's nephew. I don't remember any Vikings ever committing to Ohio ( though I know there have been a few walk-ons that tried). Let's make Jhalil the first.

No surprise to this Viking. BG's star junior MLB, Dwayne Woods is also a Princeton product, so Croley will have an ideal mentor next season.

Croley's been hurt for some of this season, but I hope he can come back for this Friday's mondo-mega important game against the only other unbeaten team in the GMC: Sycamore.

Wait, what? Sycamore is unbeaten? SYCAMORE? Those guys were Cincy HS football doormats when I was at Princeton.

I suddenly feel very, very old.
