Lets just hope that our athletic department is smart enough to get every recruit we can to this game tonight.

I saw at least 5 guys with name tags standing over in that recruit seating area.  Hope they enjoyed the show.

According to Scout he had interest from Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, FSU, GA Southern, Miami (FL), USF, and UCF.  His only other offer was from Jacksonville

Rivals threw in offers from GA Southern and Wofford

My sense of the guy from watching video is he looks a lot like Harden only more physical. Normally I would want to see a 6 foot RB in here but at 5'6" 175 he's a pretty square individual.

I'm not worried about the height.  I'm not comparing him to these guys, but just to show height matters little for a running back:

Maurice Jones-Drew 5'7"
Darren Sproles 5'6"
Ray Rice 5'8"
Frank Gore 5'9"

We've done okay this year with an undersized QB, maybe RB is next.

Not concerned with height. More concerned with (lack of) offers from other schools. I'm trying to convince myself that Frank and Co. know what they're doing.

During the ESPN broadcast, the crew mentioned that Temple informed Donte he "didn't pass the eye test" during a recruiting visit.  I think it's safe to say Coach Solich and Staff know what they're doing...

Sounds like a similar RB as Kyle Hammonds that we signed last year.  Hopefully at least one of them will turn into a great change of pace guy.

Do you think any of those 23 early commits to Temple that MH55 was going on about were watching the game last night and said to themselves: "What the hell am I thinking?"

Come on over to the good guys men, we're always looking for quality talent.

D.A., Temple lost on the road by 4 pts to a good team.  Perhaps if they lost by 40 some recruits might reconsider...

But, now they've lost 3 games to teams from the inferior MAC conference.  How does that look to the recruits who have been told that they are Big East bound? That might get them thinking.  Plus at Temple they don't consider Ohio a good team.  Check out their message board.

If it makes you feel any better, I remember when Frank went to a football game in Jersey to look at a lineman, and signed a RB that had no other offers. I think his name was Rozier, or something, and as I recall, he turned out OK.

Nah. Temple played a good game against a good team. Both teams could be proud of the performance. I'm sure it boosted Temple's perception in the eyes of recruits, too.

My point was far broader than just the end result of the game: the week night crowd which was larger than what the Linc would have produced, the game day environment in general, the alternate uniforms, marketing of the Blackout, videos produced in support of/following the game.  The whole enchilada would make an astute recruit potentially rethink a verbal in my mind, especially considering in year two Addazio is transitioning from "former Coordinator at Florida" to "second year coach of the team that has gone 1-4 against Ohio."
