According to the Mississippi Press, Ohio has received a verbal commitment from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College defensive end/linebacker Wade Wells. The 6-4, 245-pounder will sign with Ohio on Wednesday and enroll in January. He had 32 tackles, six sacks and three forced fumbles this past season.

He's a pass-rush specialist. It will be interesting to see if he becomes and all-down player, or just for rushing situations. It doesn't say if he will make it for Spring practice, though.

His high school size was 6' 1" and 220. Nice growth to 6' 4" and 245. With 3 to play 2 he has the time to develop the every down strength. Harder to create the pass-rush speed/quicks from a run stuffer. A nice recruit.
