According to Rivals, Cleveland Benedictine High School wide receiver Mike Roberts is leaning towards Ohio. The 6-4, 240-pounder (4.6 forty) had offers from BG, Cincinnati, UConn, Kansas, Kent St., Louisville, NC State and Toledo. Roberts says Ohio will be his only visit on 1/28 and if he likes it he will commit. He said Nebraska is showing late interest but doesn't think he can get there before Feb. 1 Signing Day and he wants to be done by then. Not sure what happened in the recruiting process here or if there's a grades issue but this would appear to be a nice get for Ohio if he indeed commits.

Very strange to only make one visit and then make a decision. But hey if it benefits us then I'm all for it.  And no way does this kid play WR at 240, must be a TE.

Mike Roberts has made his commitment to Ohio. Made it earlier this morning. He plays basketball today at 1 on Sports Time Ohio.

Great news.....if Roger Lewis comes as well then look out.....even if he doesn't then Roberts signing will take away some of the sting.....can you imagine  from this class Murray and Lewis and Roberts spread out wide.....they'll either turn you to toast or run over ya......a DB and and a DC's nightmare.

Roberts at Tight End working with Dixon equals NFL Sunday potential!  I think he is the class of this class.
