I've seen NFL Draft highlight reels not as an impressive as that one. First, junior year film shows a run-oriented offense where all he does is pancake defensive ends up and down the field. I'm thinking blocking tight end. The senior film, though, shows him split wide running past and around DBs in a pretty good league, dragging feet on the sideline, going deep, going over the middle... Oh, and just when you think he's going around you for a pattern, he flattens you into the turf with his 240-lb frame. He's a matchup nightmare in a no-huddle. How do you substitution pattern this guy? Put a LB on him and your doomed. Put a DB on him, same result. And Tanner, practically the same thing. I mean, if you can run a no huddle and go four wide or two tight end sets without subbing, that's pretty tough to defend.
