I don't know but the highlight for me when the video cut out a very large man in Osh-Kosh overalls (aren't those outlawed for wear in public places?) stolling out toward the camera as it cuts away. He may have been your fine gentleman of question.

I was there and I think everyone in the room understood the humor in the question. First, the questioner is I believe, a long time supporter. He asked the question because it was obvious as each player's highlight film was shown that this recruitment class is made up of many players who are tall, big, and speedy. Solich as a player was speedy but big and tall..?..no. So the questioner was just pointing out when he asked "how did you ever get to play fullback" the comparison of the past and the present. I think it was a compliment as much as anything to the fact that this crop of recruits is so high powered in so many areas compared to players of the past. And one other thing, if you do not like guys wearing overalls than don't drive into the hills outside Athens. There are many locals who love Ohio football who wear overalls. Perhaps in whatever big city you live in it is not considered Gentleman's Quarterly, but for us locals there are no complaints to a farmer who wears overalls and supports Ohio football.

I thought the remark was rude and disrespectful as well as just a bit degrading.  Naturally, Coach Solich handled it with class.

I thought it was just good natured humor.  I think you need an Appalachian humor sensitivity course!

At the least it was insensitive toward coach in a public forum.  Oh, someone who would call coaches stature out in public would, I am sure, have no problem with "good natured" humor about their overalls.  Surely he had his
"go to town" set on.  In my area they are common wear to graduations, church, etc.
